The Canadian trucking industry is made up of more than 70,000 establishments that generate annual revenue of about $70 billion. Large companies include TransForce, Vitran, Mullen Group, TransX, and Challenger Motor Freight. The largest for-hire trucking companies (annual revenue greater than $25 million) control about 25 percent of the market.
