• Province unemployment averaged 5.3% in September 2009; the national average was 8.4%.
• Average weekly earnings rose 4.3% to $780 in July 2009 from a year ago.
• Provincial revenue rose 2.9% in FY 2009 from the previous year.
• Exports fell 14.3% to $6.4 billion in the first seven months of 2009 from a year ago.
